Differences between life in the UK and Germany:

The food in Germany is quite different to back at home. The food is very hearty here. In the winter there's lots of heavy meals that are thick gravies and stews and gulashes and this type of, ah, cuisine. I think it's also a lot healthier and the portions are a lot bigger. You could also eat a lot later than at home. It seems in England I think we have a set time for our lunch and our breakfast and then our evening meal but over here you can still order food at 12 or 1 o'clock in the morning.
