Hi!

Although nearly everyone is complaining about the hot weather there is a group of people who have a fortune of it: the thick ones

I mean, as I was working manual again the last six weeks (it had been hot the whole time through) I surely have lost 10 to 15 kg. Weather-experts are talking about some further weeks of heat and sunshine so that many thick ones might be able to work out and achieve their ideal-weight for free.

This heat (35 and more degrees) is not only an unpleasant effect of the summer, is it?

Hello Michael!

How have you done it?
Do you know how many girls are envying(?) you this success? You have just been ONLY working, and some of them have to starve or spend many hours in body building gym to lose 10-15 kg Rolling Eyes

I agree, weather is very useful to lose our weight. I decided not to eat suppers and go for a walk for 1 hour a day (I walk after 8 pm). And it works! I lost 4 kg since first of June. Losing two more would be very nice Laughing

I wish you nice day.

Hi Michael,

Losing weight is a good thing but keeping that lost and not returning back to your previous weight is much more important. I know friends who have lost 20 kg in recoded period but eventually they gained up to 50 kg after while. So to keep your weight after extensive diet, you have to plan right for it. Ask your-self these questions: how many kg are you going to lose by week, for instant; work on a constant rate; don't and don't ever look for immediate results, I mean the lost weight. Remember, also, remmeber the saying slow but sure.

I had a real experience with my-self. I started sport when I was in secondary school at age of 16 approximately. At that time I was full of energy "and it is still up-to-now of course Wink " and I used to do exercises on daily basis. I built my body very well for about 4 consecutive years and my weight was around 70kg. After that era; as I used to call it; I relied on it but look what happened 6 years later. My now weight is 100kg!!

I took this advantage in this forum to speak out this tragedy and warn people to see and set to discuss with them-self before it is too late.

Nice pic, Eda! It makes such a difference when you can see people’s faces! After all, a picture is worth a thousand words, isn’t it?

Now, about your diet, what is your relationship with food? I mean, do you eat only because you’re hungry and you don’t really care what you have as long as it’s filling? Or do you try to eat as varied a diet as possible? Maybe you happily indulge in the occasional binge without feeling guilty afterwards (that’s the point, I think Smile !) – and that would be me!

In any case, good luck on your diet, and please, above all, enjoy your food!

Welcome to the site, Baraa, and thank you for the sound advice. It’s so much more interesting when people can talk from their own experience and are willing to share their story.

I wouldn’t call your situation a tragedy, though, and hope you haven’t thrown the towel in yet Smile !

Hi Eda!

Might be that it was brains only! Laughing But seriously, as my current work requires much movement (it reminds me to sports sometimes) while the temperature is 38-39 degrees I?ve lost a lot of water, that I probably haven?t lost if I would have been sitting in a bureau. Additional, to lose such a mass, you must have enough. Wink

Losing the last few pounds seem to be the opposite from getting the first million! Or could it be the same? I mean, having a look at your picture I don?t find both really neccessary, might be for you it would be nice to achieve both. Laughing Hope you get me right!

Wish you a nice day too!

bull`s eye! I`m not able to take care of everything I eat. It`s very hard.
I don`t eat suppers and I walk to look and feel better. 2 kg less and I will look like befere my wedding Very Happy

Nice pic, Eda! It makes such a difference when you can see people’s faces! After all, a picture is worth a thousand words, isn’t it? yes I think the same. If I knew how to reduce kB of my picture I would smile to you earlier Very Happy
I would like to know how Michael and Hercules look like. Come on boys show your photos too.

Hi Bara!
After my second baby I felt awful, I had 18 kg more than before. And the only way to lose it was to exercise. And not to eat more that it was nessesery. After one year I came back to my weight. Motivation and consequence were the most important to achive my goals. I think that human is very strong but He must believe on himself. I wish you power and positive thinking.

Michael you are a very nice man, do you know this?

Hi everyone,
Eda's right, Michael, my friend, what's up with your face?
If you don't want to show it, it's fine by me, but I'd don't mind to see what a bloodbrother looks like.
You know who else's face I'd like to see: JAMIE'S!
I'm going to change my pic soon, 'cause I look like a zombie on this one.
I look much better alive Smile
I gotta go eat some brains now

Okay babes!

Now you know what I?m looking like. But I must warn you. The picture is almost 5 years old, as I haven?t any more current one.

Spencer, here you can see a Red Indian Bloodbrother in civil dress Laughing . By the way, how are you? Long time ago, since we met last.

Eda, thank you for the flowers. Cool

Michael, you made it!
Why did you wait this long?
You look like a business man, but I understand if you can't walk with tomahawk in your hands.
I wasn't around for a little while, but I'll go for another week of holiday again.
But I'll be back as always. Smile
Take care

BRAVO, Michael! Very Happy

So nice to see your face at last – the more we have to wait, the greater the effect. It might not be such a bad idea to let people wait a bit, after all, before sending in a picture.

Aren’t we in a revealing mood lately! It’s especially nice since there had been a tendency to the contrary, both Tom and Hercules having sadly and inexplicably removed their pictures.

Keep up the spirit!

Hi!

I?m happy that you enjoy the picture. But be carefully, that?s my Sunday- morning-go-to-church-face only. You surely were surprised if I would show you my all-days-long-face Wink . Like Mr. Micawber, who is capable a mimicry I?ll surprise you anytime with my correct face. By the way, Mr Micawbers newest picture is more sympathetic than his old had been Rolling Eyes , at least in my opinion. And it fits more to his traits, doesn?t it?

And another point that Conchita brought up: the tend to hide one?s face. More or less I can understand Hercules and Tom, but why did you delete your polaroid Amy? Confused I mean as you have a sympathetic face too? Cool

Michael

P.S. Spencer, dear old zombie, wish you very fine holiday and think about me when you?re having your next lovely Budweiser. Cool

Yes, what happened to your picture Amy? I hope it's only provisional. Perhaps we're going to see a new Amy shortly -- imagine if we put a notice 'in between' photos saying: 'closed for renovation' Laughing !
