Try usually means experiment with and here you need a word like check/test.

Hi,

Is it because 'examine' is too 'serious' here to describe the situation that it's a wrong choice?

'Examine' is 'look at closely'. 'Test' is try to find the validity/effectiveness of someone/something. A doctor could examine you to find out what's wrong with you. To make sure the doctor will then test various body functions to see how well they are working.

Hi Alan,

Thank you so very much again and I guess I don't have confusions about examine and test any more now.

Merry Christmas!
