A hymn is a song sung in church. The expression means that everybody agrees on the same basic principles.

I am a native english speaker and ESL teacher. I see no reason why lyric sheet is unacceptable. Besides, Hymn sheets don't really exists. The words and music for hymns are usually in hymnals.

I think you've missed the point. In this exercise I've tried to include popular expressions on agreement and agreeing and I'm sure you must know this one - referring to the idea of all party members agreeing on basic principles.
