All 2 sentences are correct?

Thanks Tom, but I think both are incorect because I've never seen "owing to the fact that".

Both of your sentences are correct (1 and 2).

All three of Tom's sentences are correct.

1.Because of the fact that the weather was cold, we stayed home.
