Can we use the verb stick without get?

1- We may stick in traffic!
2- I stuck badly in traffic yesterday!

Hi Tom

You can also use stuck with be:
I was stuck in traffic for two hours yesterday.

I wouldn't use the verb stick as in your sentences.

But you could say, for example:

That door is hard to open. The upper right-hand corner sticks in the doorframe.
