When to use 'who' and 'whom'? #3 (permalink) Tue Jul 14, 2009 17:06 pm   When to use 'who' and 'whom'?

Hi Sir,

Can you explanin me when should use who and whom in a sentence.
Robert met someone yesterday. I saw it and at that time Welbert with Robert. Next day i met Robert, how should i ask him(Welbert) whom Robert met yesterday.

Who did Robert meet yesterday? or Whom did Robert meet yesterday or
whom do robert met yesterday.

Please correct me, if i made some grammer mistake in above paragraph.

Thanks in advance,
Regards,
Shaik.

Hello Mr.Shaik,

I am not a teacher, but for when I can replace the replace the relative pronoun by he, I put who, but when I can't I put whom.

Have a nice day.

dear shaik
in my opinion I think you must use " Who", because in speaking it's better to use it than "Whom"
I agree grammatically with "the french"
I hope I've been helpful.
