Use the word pluperfect referring to the verb tense

You сan also play with different tenses (perfect, future perfect, pluperfect and so on).

Do you (ESOL teachers, I mean) use the word pluperfect referring to the verb tense?

I just call it the past perfect. If I called it pluperfect, my students wouldn't be able to find it in their grammar books.

P.S. They could easily find it in Wikipedia (let's hope, their learning process is not limited by only reading grammar books )

...But, to be honest, today was the first time when I myself met such use of the word.
While doing my homework (and reading correspondent materials) on Persuasive language
