Another / other

Dear teachers,

I got confused about the way how to use "another " and "other" properly.

"I have two cars. One is white, and the other is red."

Is this correct? If I want to use "another " in this sentence, can I make it as follows?

I have two cars.
One is white, and another is red.
One is white, and another one is red.
(Shouldn't I put "the" in front of another, should I?)

One is probably a Mercedes and the other a Chrysler?

I have another (different) make, a French one.

Here is another (one more) example:

- This pen doesn't work. Could you give me another one (another pen/a differen pen) please?

Hi Cowboy, 'at all' is usually used in connection with verbs such as in 'I don't like cars at all' or 'This scarf doesn't suit you at all.'

As for having cars - I guess you can either have one or you can't.
