Hi Joydaniel,

The expression 'get the hang of it' suggests that you understand how something works or functions. You could use this with reference to a lot of activities. Let's just take one activity - making a recording of a television programme. You have read the instruction booklet again and again and you still can't make it work properly and you would say: I have tried and tried to make a recording but I just can't get the hang of it. Do you know anyone who can help me get the hang of it?
