Hi

(just a version)

As I know, Aton = Aten, a (Egyptian) sun god

Hi!

Reading this thread I immediately thought about the Egyptian sun god, too. Particularly since I once have read a book in which the famous name Echnaton (ech-n-aton=praise-the-sun) was explained.

Returning to some less mysterious details I found the English word "atone" in my dictionary and now wonder whether henry just have omitted the "e" at the end?
