Canadian45... I think your criticism was unneccessarily harsh and not useful.... Yankees's example said one thing, your's said another but the former imported a shade of meaning which your's does not. A minor distinction perhaps, but a difference nevertheless.

As a general observation, I think that those who insist on particular constructions often miss the point.

Hi Pond, I greatly appreciate all your contributions and I don't want to create the impression of a nitpicker. I'm sure you have an excellent command of the English language and great negotiation skills. That's why you certainly wanted to write "Yankee's example" and "yours"?
