Aside from 'annoying' is there any other meaning of it?

How about this one?

"College life is such a drag."

Shall I translate this sentence to:

"College life is annoying." ?

Just another thought on this word. Drag as a verb means pull slowly across something. The expression drag your feet is walk slowly because you don't really want to go anywhere. The word drag as a noun is therefore something that slows you down and you can't wait for it to finish.
