I used to smoke for about 10 years and then quit on December 31 in 2001 after many fruitless attepmts. Haven't smoked a cigarette ever since or even thought about one.
What about you, EU? I take it you are an ardent non-smoker?

I started smoking at 16 and, by the age of 20, had become a fairly heavy smoker (about a packet a day). Somehow, I managed to stop during pregnancies and finally gave up cigarettes at 34, after several unsuccessful attempts.

Now I still enjoy the occasional draw on a narghile.

I think the idea for light a cigarette comes from absence of any other free time activities.I smoke a few times but it doesn't make me an addict and still,i can't undestand why smoking result in addiction.I try nargille a few times but somehow it cause a little vertigo )

When i was in high school i tried a cigarrete. I remember i didn't need to go to school that day and i stay home along, i lit a cigarrete for myself thinking of my parents would be back home any time so I throw it away after 3-5 minutes. Opened all the windows being careful not to leave any traces. I often noticed that Smoke started some people coughing when they tried the first ciggrrete in movies, but i felt it wasnot so difficult.

Hello,

I don't care for smoking. It damages the skin and accelerates aging process. It will make my rigorous skin care regime pointless. Not to mention very bad for the lungs.
