Food, from the ancient times to modern age has always been an important part of human life. Man cannot live without it because it is the basic need of man. In this modern age, food has become easy to prepare with the help of technology and it takes less time to prepare a variety of food. One can easily buy preprocessed food from the market and it saves time because we don’t have to wash it, cut it etc. Some people think that such food has negative aspects. I will use specific reasons to support my answer.

Firstly, when people use a preprocessed food it definitely saves time. One does not have to cut it, wash it and cook it. We just had to put the food in the microwave and it is ready in few seconds or minutes. I personally think that it is really a good benefit because it saves a plenty of time and we can do other activities like watching TV, spend time with our family, meet our friends etc. It is also helpful in business or jobs. We can prepare food in less time and we can devote more time to our work.

Secondly, life has become faster in this modern age. people do not want to waste their time in other activities. They want to do the things which consumes less time. That is the reason that the preprocessed food is being used in large ratio now-a-days. People can easily prepare food without working 2-3 hours in the kitchen. Now People mostly like to eat in cafeteria, hotels and restaurants because they can eat whatever they want from Chinese to Mexican and it saves their time. People do not like to waste their precious time in kitchens now.

Lastly, as housewives are mostly attached with the cleaning and cooking. They can reduce their stress by using preprocessed food. In this way, they can easily have more time in other activities or they can relax their mind. This can help them in saving their energy.

However, some people think that a preprocessed food has negative aspects. Unfortunately, preprocessed food has less vitamins and minerals than fresh cooked food. Besides, it has more preservatives and unnatural ingredient that can not be good for man's health. In addition, the number of diseases such as obesity, fatigue, reflux disease etc. is rising. At this point I think that people should not always use fast food or preprocessed food. They should sometimes try to cook at home so they can enjoy a nutrious and healthy food.

In short, I think that people should not abuse fast food as it has changed the way people live now. On the other hand, people should use fast food and preprocessed food and should also don’t forget the tradition of cooking. They should sometimes cook at home and enjoy nutrious and healthy food.
