What does "ocean of smiles" mean? #1 (permalink) Sat Feb 09, 2008 16:48 pm   What does "ocean of smiles" mean?

Hello,

I'm a newcomer, this is very first time I have been here, thus I want to say "hi" to all of you.
I saw the idiom " an ocean of smiles" some days ago, however, I don't understand it carefully. Can you explain it for me.

Thanks in advance,
Ann**

Lots and lots and lots of smiles. It's probably a huge crowd of smiling people.
