Hi Torsten,

Thanks a lot for sending me these wonderful english lessons.
My name is Sarvin, I'm from Iran, I have been living in Sydney (Australia) for 3 years now.
I am a chemist and I'm working in Sydney university as a researcher.
My job involves doing a lot of paper work, writing papers and particpating in some meetings,
so I really need to improve my English skills epesially writing and reading. Before coming here
I had just studied english as an subject in high school which wasn't very helpfull!
I thought it might be better to start learning english from the begining but if you have any
better idea I'll be very happy and thankfull to hear that.

Here are the answers (lesson 3):
Sue works for a large financial company and usually starts her work at 8:45.
she enjoys the personal contact with her client because they come form all walks of life and are all ages.

Thanks
Sarvin

Hi Torsten, these are my answers to the questions in session 3.

What company does Sue Work for? Sue works for a large financial company.
What time does she usually start work? She usually starts work at 8:45.
Why does she enjoy the personal contact with her clients? She enjoys the personal contact with her clients as they come from all walks of life and are all ages.

The results from the "Listen vs. Hear" test are 9 out of ten. I made a mistake in the fourth question, my answer was listen instead of the correct answer hear. (But I've got the point after I revised the text in the session 5 audio file).

Thanks for the lesson. I will proceed with the next task.
Greetings - Nikola from Macedonia (FYROM)

Hi Torsten

I am sorry that I haven't been sending any messages or comments lately, I am taking it easy with my course as I am very busy with my family life style and handling so much responsibilities.

Your course is never boring or dull its interesting and very encouraging I am glad I found such a useful course.

I use English in my everyday dialogue and I am good with grammar too, but I want to keep my self educated and updated, the only problem with me I do not speak the accent and when native speak fast or use idioms I feel behind.

Thanks for your mail and hope I will be able soon to cope with all the lessons and my family duties.
