Hi,

Plural of 'it" is "they" for living things?
Like: It is a poisonous snake.(Singular)
They are poisonous snakes. (Plural)

But, What will be the plural of 'it' when it is used for non-living things?

Example : It is a box. (Singular)
Plural ????

These are boxes

Or, it could be, "They are boxes."

It doesn't matter whether you're talking about living things or inanimate things. The plural of "it" is the same.
