Dear Toresten;

Although I myself am an ENGLISH teacher I do benefit from all the lessons you send me either there are some delicate points I learn myself or the way you explain things helps me a lot in my lesson plans. I am so grateful and looking forward for receiving more lessons!

yours faithfully

Dear Ladan Shirali,

It's great to hear you find our email English useful and I hope you are going to continue sharing your experiences with us. If you like, you can tell me more about your students, the materials you use in your classroom and your favourite teaching methods.

Best regards,

Dear Torsten Daerr;
I have thaught different types of materials;British Headway/American Headway/New Interchange/Streamline.......
Since each does not provide enough grammar,teachers should strive to elaborate and expand the grammar part.
Wharever the material is, I go through different procedures in each unit, to teach VOCABULARY,DIALOG,PASSAGE/GRAMMAR
VOCABULARY is usually pre-taught,there are several steps to teach a dialog ,but the main thing is studens are assisted to master a dialog through repetition and chain drill.For lower levels I exclusively teach grammar INDUCTIVELY, in intermediate levels depending on GRAMMAR TOPIC teching method could be either INDUCTIVE or DEDUCTIVE..I think the most important step in teaching GRAMMAR is how teachers utelize the drills .I think drills are the only way that a teacher could possibly constitute the grammar concept in students head and all different drills should be exercised:
1-SUBSTITUTIONAL DRILLS
2-TRANSFORMATIONAL DRILLS
3-COMBINATION DRILLS
