Test No. errors/advan-9 "This way and that", question 3

I think that this probably has something to do with my jeans.

(a) that
(b) probably
(c) do
(d) jeans

Test No. errors/advan-9 "This way and that", answer 3

I think that this probably has something to do with my genes.

Correct entry: genes
The error was: (d) jeans

You have not found the error.
I think that this probably has something to do with my jeans.

Dear Sirs,

I think this sentence is too short to enable a confident answer. The initial sentence may well be entirely correct if you put it in some context. I.e. I think that this probably has something to do with my jeans. I wasn't aware they were terribly stained and I totally embarrassed myself.

Thank you for your opinion.

SCR

P.S. In all confusion I just picked something...

Oh dear - how can you possibly imagine that having a bad sense of direction has anything to do with the condition of the jeans you are wearing? I wrote these sentences as part of a continuous story and so the shortness of the sentence is not relevant because it is part of the whole.

SCR made a good point there. I was wondering what could possibly be wrong here. I wasnt quite aware of the fact that there is background-story to each one lesson.
Good approach, must have missed that detail....
