Hello!
So, I have a problem with this sound. The matter is that I know to pronounce it well, but when I'm talking I simply forgot to say th and I say t. How to influence on my brain Smile to say th? Because when I was little and while I was learning English my teacher was bad and he was saying t. And now I'm used to it and I don't know how to stop saying it.

Thanks Wink

I know that many hearing non english-speaking people have difficulties with that sound. Hard of hearing people have difficulties with the voiceless S sound instead. Maybe hearing non english-speaking people are afraid of showing their tounge when they speak. Smile Many hard of hearing people finds that sound very easy to say.

Hi Turtle,

Try repeating this again and again:

The thief thought that the thing threaded through the thicket.

When you make this sound (th) press the tip of your tongue against the back of your top teeth.

I couldn't download this file Sad That was not an MP3-file... I find it difficult to listen from loadspeaker. I listen to English with my discman and a loop.

If she does like that it will be a T-sound..
She must put her tougue between her teeth. Maybe hearing non-English speaking people are afraid of showing their tounge when they speak that's why they can't pronounce it well.
