Dash or hyphen?

Hello Alan! Thank you for answering my two questions yesterday. Your explanations are really good. Today I have another question: What do you call the '-' in an internet address? I mean for example what do you say when you tell someone your website address on the phone. 'english' 'hyphen' 'test' 'dot' 'net' or
english dash test dot net?

Hi,

The word dash is used to indicate a pause or a space or an interruption in a transcript of conversation. A hyphen on the other hand usually joins two words and so when I give my email address, I say english hyphen test, which is english-test
