Hello Bittu,

‘Slumber’ means ‘sleep’.

A slumber party, also called a pyjama party or a sleepover, is usually a children’s or teenagers’ (girls only or boys only) gathering to spend the night in one of their homes. The idea is to wear pyjamas and, depending on their age, play games or just talk, for example. It’s great fun for children, since they are ever so fond of staying at a friend’s house or inviting their best friend/s to stay overnight.
