Hi Enlearnercn,

The accepted word for a collection of fish swimming in the sea/river is a school of fish.

Hi Huonglinh.
These might help you.
school of= a large group of fish, whales, dolphins etc that are swimming together
for example: a school of fish

herd of= a group of animals of one kind that live and feed together [↪ flock]
Exp:1-a herd of cattle 2-herds of elephants.........

1-flock of= a group of sheep, goats, or birds
a flock of small birds
2-flock of=a large group of people [= crowd]
a flock of children
