Okay, I figured out the puzzle, but then realized it's for learners of English and not me. Oops! Well, I'll leave this hint for our distinguished guests:

GH from the word ____ is pronounced F

O from the word ____ is pronounced I

TI from the word ____ is pronounced SH

So...GHOTI can be pronounced FISH!

Wow, English is a screwed up language!
