The sentence you've quoted seems to come from the lyrics of a song by Imogen Heap. But the song has nothing to do with a mother and baby.
The only interpretation I can think of would be that when the baby dreams, he/she always sees his/her mother's face (and/or vice versa --- the mother always sees her baby's face when she dreams).
