Congratulations for joining this site. Your decision was perfectly well done.

Also congratulations to your national soccer team for achieving the next round in the world championship. Are you having great soccer events on public places too? Cool Hercules told me that in Syria are also such events. Cool

Looking for the World Champion #6 (permalink) Fri Jun 23, 2006 22:10 pm   Looking for the World Champion

Hi Hercules!

Congratulation for choosing a good team for favourite! I think, that the way for the Dutch team is absolutely possible and that they could have an easy way into the semi-finals. But there comes probably a big challenge with Brasilia. As for the German team, Sweden is rather possible but the next challenge certainly were Argentina, so that we needed to be a bit lucky. Not that it were impossible to beat Argentina, but it?s a big stone to roll away. I think, J?rgen Klinsmann does an excellent job. So with a little help from god -could you please ask Allah to help us too?- our favourite teams will meet in the Final. If the German team would achieve that, I think nobody, not even the Netherlands, can stop them. It were a beautyful Final Netherlands-Germany!

Good luck to you and your soccer favourite

Haha, Germany - Holland would be a great match. Holland plays pretty well on the World Championships. Here in Holland, they call our poul, the "poul des doods" what excily "poul of death" means. So, we will know what the future will bring..

(I'm thinking in Dutch right now, I'm reading English and German and I talk in French.. Yes, it's really difficult..)

'poul des doods'vs team from the 'land of ideas' #10 (permalink) Sun Jun 25, 2006 9:40 am   'poul des doods'vs team from the 'land of ideas'

Hi Dark magician! Hi kefjuh!

DM, while the German team is absence here I?ll take your good wishes for the WM. You aren?t really a soccer fan, are you?

kefjuh, the German Team did the first step to reach our favourite Final Game yesterday. Having watched the other game too I?m not longer afraid of a contest between Germany and Argentina, although one can?t always know what happens. Let?s see what the ?poul des doods? can itsself do today to reach the Final. Hope they succeed!

Hi Hercules! Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

But seriously, I think, the Dutch were unlucky only. To lose or to win such a game, is the opportunity of being lucky or unlucky as the absider was really bad. Your favourite didn?t earn to lose the game that way because the did everything they could and were most of the time the better team, in my opinion too. So sorry. Sad

Well, Holland is famous with it's roses and windmills, but to tell the truth, I think I have seen five windmills in my whole life. The roses you tell about, aren't the famoust flowers in Holland. The 'tulpen' are the famoust. Every two years there is a huge event all for those flowers. Don't ask me what people like about it!

I hope I answered your quistions.

(I just discovered that German is a lot easier to write for me than English.. Ooh, I am a weird one)
